Liveries at Honnington
At Honnington we have 60 boxes (both internal and external) located at 4 different yards. We provide a range of liveries - DIY, DIY-assisted and working livery. In fact we aim to be flexible and with DIY-assisted livery we can arrange the type of livery best suited to each owner and horse. Full livery is now provided by Phil and Michelle Bache. In addition to the stables, we also have 24 internal pens, which are particularly suitable for ponies. The main tackroom at Honnington is secure and alarmed.
We are able to provide all-year turnout.
Elli at the Lockskinners Hunter Trials, 2'6" approx. Singles.
Molly at the Redlands Hunter Trials, Sevenoaks Riding Club. Approx. 2'6" - 2'9" Singles.
The most popular bedding at Honnington is shavings, though straw and aubiose are also used.
Over the years we have built up good relationships with farriers, vets, saddle fitters, dentists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, equine podiatrists, trainers and instructors. We are always happy to pass on contacts to anyone if they want support and help with their horse.
The uses to which our livery owners put their horses reflect a wide range of interests - from those who are quite happy to hack out, to those into dressage, jumping; bringing on young horses; taking part in local hunter trials and other competitions, including one-day eventing. Our aim is to make Honnington a friendly and fun place to ride.
