For the Honnington Riding Club's
Dressage Championship results:
Situated on an 850 acre farm in the beautiful Kentish countryside, with both indoor and outdoor floodlit schools, Honnington has some of the finest equestrian facilities in the county. The centre has 60 boxes and provides a wide range of livery services - from DIY and DIY-assisted livery, working livery to full livery. With an increasingly full range of activities, our aim is for everyone at Honnington to enjoy our facilities in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

We are pleased to welcome Michelle and Phil Bache to Honnington. Running a diverse business that includes the Karraba Arabian Stud, they bring their experience of sympathetic training and schooling to Honnington. Pictured left is Syeed - one of their Arabian stallions. On the right is Phil at a jousting tournament in East Anglia.

Work has now been completed to restore and improve the small outdoor school (40mx20m). After major drainage work had been carried out, the school has been finished with a rubber surface.

Presently there are no ponies or horses to sell or loan. It's worthwhile contacting the Riding School or the livery yard as there is usually someone looking for a sell or loan.

Our second Fun Day started with Tack and Turnout and Riding classes. This was followed by the Show Jumping classes including Top Score, Chase Me Charlie and a Horse and Hound class. The day finished with a mini gymkhana - the most popular game being Apple Bobbing.

In August we took Jade, Bronté, Paris, Poppy, Molly, Rupert, Pudding, Olimpic, Oxo, Star and Pancake to Camber Sands in East Sussex.
A gallop across a beach is something every rider should experience at some time. It was great fun - and only 3 of our riders fell off! We hope to have a photo gallery of our visit on this site very soon.

We found behavioural problems can be caused by dental neglect. On this occasion our dentist filed down hooks and removed some wolf teeth.
Is this just another excuse to show photos of the Kentish countryside? Well yes it is. Seas of blue in the Hazel Shaw Woods and the Copyhold Woods.
