The Honnington Riding Club
Winter Dressage Series 2009-10

Click for the Honnington Riding Club Winter Dressage Schedule Every 6 weeks on Saturday from 11am until approx 4pm

Tests will be ridden on our all weather rubberised outdoor school (or indoor sand school depending on the weather conditions.)

Each class will award 1st to 6th place rosettes for both juniors and seniors. Championship Points will be awarded as follows: 1st -11; 2nd - 8; 3rd - 6; 4th - 4; 5th - 2; 6th – 1.

CLASS 1: INTRODUCTORY A - (2008)

Not open to riders who have competed at affiliated level, with a BD grade 8 or above or riding horses with any BD points. Combinations are not to have won at a previous W&T championship or to have been placed 1st at Prelim level or above. Combinations must genuinely not be capable of riding a Prelim test.

CLASS 2: PRELIMINARY TEST NO. 7 (2002)

Not open to riders who have competed at affiliated level, with a BD grade 8 or above or horses with any BD points. Excluded riders can enter HC if wishing to give horse competition experience. Combinations are not to have won a Prelim test before the current series.

CLASS 3: PRELIMINARY TEST NO. 13 (2006)

Not open to riders with a BD grade 7 or above. Excluded riders can enter HC if wishing to give horse competition experience. Open to horses with up to 20 BD points.

CLASS 4: NOVICE TEST NO. 32 (2002)

Open to all riders. Open to horses with up to 80 BD points.

CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES AND AWARDS 3rd April 2010

Any combination accruing 12 points or more during the series in any class will qualify for the championship and will be invited to compete in that class. Competitors qualifying for more than one championship class must choose one to enter. Championship rosettes for 1st – 6th place for both juniors and seniors will be awarded with prize money of £15, £10 & £5 for 1st to 3rd place also for both juniors and seniors. A championship sash for the overall winner of each class will be awarded. The Championship trophy will go to the combination accruing the most points in the series. Combinations entering more than one class in any competition only carry forward the points from their best class to the championship leader-board.

CLASS 1: INTRODUCTORY B (2009)

Champion’s sash. Vouchers: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 and rosettes to 6th place donated by Motos of Kent.

CLASS 2: PRELIMINARY 12 (2005)

Champion’s sash. Vouchers: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 and rosettes to 6th place donated by Shane Love Equine Dentist

CLASS 3: PRELIMINARY 14 (2006)

Champion’s sash. Vouchers: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 and rosettes to 6th place donated by Bradley’s Country Store

CLASS 4: NOVICE TEST 20 (2002)

Champion’s sash. Vouchers: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5 and rosettes to 6th place

Trophy to be awarded to the horse and rider combination accumulating the most points throughout the Series. Donated by Motos of Kent.
