The Honnington Riding Club's Spring Show 2008 ...........................

The Best Rider class, aged up to 13, was a clear win by Annie Snook riding Rosie. In the Best Rider class, aged over 14, Nicole J was the winner with Elmo's Last Chapter, closely followed by Josh P riding Smokey Joe. In the Riding Pony class, Alice Plummer riding Sam was the clear winner. Abi H riding Jade was the clear winner in the Riding Horse class.

In the well-contested In Hand class (12 entries), joint winners were Alex S with Hot Butootie Too-Time and Phoebe T with Taffy.

The Horse and Groom show jumping class was won by Hayley P riding Rupert and Gemma F the groom, both competing at break-neck speeds. With 10 entries in the 2'3" class, joint winners were Susie Metcalf with Quill and Georgia Stevens riding Omega. Clear winners by 9 seconds in the team jumping class were Annie S with Hardy and Curt B with Rupert.

Out of 10 entries in the 2'6" class, there were just 2 that went clear, Crumble well-ridden by Rachel Tysh the winner in the jump-off. Just 2 out of 10 went clear in the 2'9" class, Nicole J with Poppy beating Abi H with Jade by just 1 second. The winner in the Top Score class was Curt B clearing the scary joker jump (the style set very very high) 3 times amassing 140 points, with Annie S with Hardy in second place (101 points).

The championship winner was Nicole J with Elmo's Last Chapter (aka Poppy) who won a bottle of champagne (made out of chocolate!).
