We aim to provide tuition, competitions, talks and social events, giving people of all abilities the chance to increase their knowledge and experience and get more out of their riding. We welcome new members - and we always welcome new ideas.

One essential ingredient we always try to include in our activities is - fun. We aim for high standards, but we want to have fun in the process. For example, as part of our jumping competitions, we usually include a 'horse and groom' class or a 'horse and hound' class. We are also partial to the occasional gymkhana. Since July 2006 we've been running fortnightly clear round jumping evenings. We are pleased to announce that this event is sponsored by
Putlands Equine Vets.
We always aim to provide a course with a challenge, so that we will include any combination of - a spread, a parallel, a style, one and two stride doubles, a treble; also we can use up to 3 pairs of fillers. In each course, there are always at least 2 changes of rein.
The Clear Round Jumping evenings have proved to be quite popular - with over 1000 individual rounds so far.

The Honnington Riding Club - in association with Andy Ford - organises weekly jumping clinics. They are usually held in the main indoor school at Honnington, but when conditions allow, the clinics sometimes take place at the cross country course.
In the past, some of the clinics would have a specific theme, i.e. 'fillers and scary jumps' or 'indoor cross country.' But now we alternate with 'intermediate' and 'advanced' groups.
Andy Ford (BHSAI) has been holding clinics at Honnington for several years now. Andy runs a yard near Borough Green and trains event riders, show jumpers, and works with local pony clubs and riding clubs.
