Welcome to Honnington
Honnington, established in 1973, is one of the largest riding centres in the South East of England. It is situated on an 850 acre farm in the heart of Kent, near Southborough between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Our facilities include:
1 floodlit indoor school
2 outdoor schools (1 floodlit)
Cross country course (approx. 2’3”)
850 acres of farm land and woodland for hacking (mainly off-road)
Full/part livery, DIY livery and DIY-assisted livery, on five yards.
A major attraction of Honnington is the beautiful hacking countryside. For the more adventurous rider, it's possible to hack through woodland, rivers and fields, past lakes, up and down hills, for hours on end. The farm is divided into 2 areas. There is a small amount of roadwork required (approximately 8 minutes) to hack between the 2 plots.
The countryside here is ideal for Le Trec and orienteering. Honnington has run Le Trec (unaffiliated) competitions in the past. We plan to carry on organising them.
The indoor school at Honnington measures 23mx46m; the outdoor schools are approximately 65mx25m and 20mx40m. The cross country course has 10 jumps.
